Anthony Albanese and Helen Haines 2Prime Minister Anthony Albanese

PM Anthony Albanese confirms dirt sheet on Helen Haines was sent from his office a few weeks ago

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s office gave a dirt sheet on Helen Haines to a few select journalists in the Canberra Press Gallery a few weeks ago, as per the below video, and he has refused to deny it, and Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles also refused to deny it.

This is important and worth reporting for 3 key reasons.

Firstly, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, over the last couple of days, since Helen Haines was attacked, has been saying what a great person Helen Haines is while concealing the fact that he has been secretly trying to defame her and trash her reputation.

Secondly, it goes to the integrity and honesty of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his office, and anytime that is questioned, it should be analyzed and reported.

Thirdly, when Helen Haines was attacked, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese immediately started blaming abuse and hate on social media, but as the leaked dirt sheet on Helen Haines shows, Albanese is also a promoter of hate on social media.

The Dirt Sheet

The Daily Mail broke the story of the dirt sheet on Monday night (19/10/26), and the existence and content of the dirt sheet have been confirmed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Deputy Prime Minster Richard Marles in the below video by the fact they refused to deny it.

The content of the dirt sheet as reported:

Anthony Albanese’s office circulated a dirt sheet to journalists baselessly raising questions about Helen Haines’ integrity after she criticised a $6million government grant allocated to the Prime Minister’s local golf course.

Just weeks ago, Albanese’s office circulated a document – bearing the name of the PM’s deputy director of communications – that raises questions about the standard of the government’s own contributions to political debate in Australia.

The document, obtained by the Daily Mail, attempted to smear Haines by cataloguing her own funding requests for her electorate and asking if she may have had personal connections to recipients of Federal government funding.

For instance, it asked whether Haines had received undeclared wine or food from local businesses, held business interests, received political donations or had personal associations with businesses that could benefit from government tourism funding.

The document contained no proof of wrongdoing whatsoever but suggested avenues for reporters to look into about Haines after she had become outspoken about government pork barrelling, calling for greater transparency from the government. (Click here to read more)

The below video (21/10/26) has the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles ducking and weaving when asked about the Helen Haines dirt sheet, which is very telling.

At least one of the journalists that PM Albanese’s office gave the dirt sheet to leaked it to the Daily Mail, which I suspect would have the effect of making Albanese a bit paranoid and wondering who he can trust the next time he wants to leak dirt on someone else.

I agree with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese that the tone on social media needs to be dialled down.

The starting point to reduce aggression and threats on social media is the politicians taking the lead and admitting they are one of the biggest promoters of it and taking action themselves to reduce their involvement.

Politicians blaming the public for everything, which is basically what most of them are doing at the moment, will achieve nothing.

Helen Haines has lost both legs, which is a huge tragedy, and some of the propaganda being pushed online is disgraceful, so I will follow up over the next few days and address it.

  1. You say “The starting point to reduce aggression and threats on social media is the politicians taking the lead and admitting they are one of the biggest promoters of it”. But the so called “dirt file” is not an example of this. The PM’s office suggested media look for hypocrisy from Haines after she criticised funding for the golf club of which Albanese is an hon. member. That is not “dirt” because it’s relevant to political discourse. Dirt is digging up dodgy personal behaviour in person’s past.

    • If there is nothing to hide why was Albanese and Marles ducking and weaving in the above video?

One example of the dirt is Albanese’s dirt sheet implied Helen Haines “had received undeclared wine or food from local businesses” and Albanese wanted the journalists to go looking for evidence of it even though Albanese provided no evidence of it.

And as per above “The document contained no proof of wrongdoing whatsoever but suggested avenues for reporters to look into about Haines after she had become outspoken about government pork barrelling, calling for greater transparency from the government.”

And as far as Albanese’s $6 million golf grant is concerned, I wrote about it here: “Exposed: PM Anthony Albanese the $6 million liar” Click here: https://kangaroocourtofaustralia.com/2026/09/10/exposed-pm-anthony-albanese-the-6-million-liar/

  2. Albo needs to be STOOD DOWN.
This corruption always comes from the top.
and Albo has to be STOPPED.

  3. This is typical of the ALP. It is the way they have operated for decades. They solicit and keep dirt files on those on the opposite side of the political fence and at the same time they protect their own.

I am in Queensland and there are many instances of this sick process in the past.

I use one word to describe the ALP in Australia and that word is SCUM.

  4. ALBO & his band of idiots are the greatest disappointment for voters in recent years. We really learned what pollies are.Now they are all scared & expecting more money to be spent on their security even though the attacker was well known to the victim NO MORE VOTES

    • I do not see that any remotely intelligent person has any choice other than the Greens, or Independents with an ethical bent. Albanese has finally gutted Labor. He should be kicked (literally) out of office immediately. Of course there’s also the strongly feared corruption associated with AUKUS as further reason to kick him out.

  5. Yes, Robert, The Greens, and there are some good independents. Hoping there will be more, come the election in 2028.

  6. Albanese is a misogynist, this ‘dirt sheet’ on Haines is the latest.

Haines showed up his corruption on the $560million invite only grants to safe Labor and marginal electorates before the 2025 election.

    45 missed out. Did yours?

She also developed an integrity NACC, pushed away by Albanese who wanted an agreement with Dutton. So no corruption would be found. Even on Robodebt.

Labors new donations reform is designed to eliminate Independents and Greens in parliament.

Some women he has shown disrespect to: Christine Holgate, Australia Post, Grace Tame , Tanya Plibersek, Fatima Payman, Japanese PM

  7. A tale of twin tragedies

I am deeply saddened by the tragedy of Helen Haines losing both her limbs, and by the tragedy of the accused, who was marginalised and lived in social isolation with severe mental health issues.

I am angered that the Prime Minister and the institutions he commands called out the anti terrorism forces implying that there was an organised political motive behind the senseless attack on Haines. We live in strange and deeply worrying times. This does not mean that we are going to give up and not continue to struggle for Justice.

  8. This makes me feel sad and angry, and lacking the words to describe my disgust for such double standards. Then I wonder why I am not surprised, while shaking my head repeatedly. This appalling event must surely become a pivotal point in politics to repair the decades of posturing and end what looks to me like blatant lies….no more doing what you want and asking forgiveness, if you get caught. Cranky as.

  9. I can only hope, that when One Nation attains government, they give the NACC some real teeth, such as public trials, 5 years jail if you refuse to answer questions, arrest warrants if you refuse to attend a NACC inquiry, etc, etc. It will be interesting to see how many of our ex-pollies/current pollies suddenly find overseas holidays a very urgent priority.

  10. Albo is being a real grub. He shouldn’t be PM particularly when he talks about turning hate speak down and than distributes hates sheets on other politicians.

  11. The attack on Haines was appalling and illogical, and in the end the courts will air what happened. The accused sounds like a terrible person, although it has to be said that his motives are still unknown. However a lot of attacks are caused precisely because people have absolutely no faith in the institutions of governance any more. For the government to tell people to “lower the temperature” is code for asking the populace to surrender meekly to the obvious lies, robbery and corruption inherent in neoliberalism. Disgusting. It’s unspeakably ironic that the MP who has done most to call out corruption should be the one to suffer.

  12. An old adage says something like: If a person has not voted for Labor by the time they are 30, they do not have a heart; and if they are still voting Labor at 40 they don’t have a brain. Yes, I have lived through these options. As difficult as it is, I choose not to join the pile on that Albanese so thoroughly deserves.

  13. My principal opinion is I am effing sick of the public being blamed for what happened. We have been repeatedly told by political figures and media outlets in the aftermath that this is the fault of societal attitudes which is essentially a moot point because it had little to do with the incident, really.
Yet it is we who apparently need to examine ourselves, consider our actions and put in the hard work to make the changes.
    NO IT IS NOT.
In essence this entire situation has been created by these very parties, successive Neo-liberal governments who make the laws; and corporations who are allowed to operate like it’s a wild land, particularly social/media, like they are not in charge of it and have no control over it. They have been allowed to get away with this for YEARS. Deliberately.
If society is in poor shape that’s the government’s principal responsibility on a number of counts and it’s their role to fix that. Key concept here. The government need to TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY for what they’ve created. It’s called ‘governing’ for a reason. The same reason why we have laws. Not so you can blame everyone else. But because a great portion of society need to have some structure and parameters to work within.
Taking responsibility whether you like it or not is accepting YOU are the common denominator and only then is a move forward signaled and things change.
Until this or any government accept responsibility nothing will change. And it won’t. Because they don’t want it to. The algorithm is working to plan, which is exactly as intended, which is to benefit them. Haines was simply a little collateral damage.
